walking and chewing gum

I'm working up the working systemic knowledge/experience/confidence to play guitar and walk at the same time. Both guitar and walking are activities of which I am glad to partake daily. Combining the two is totally new to me. An interesting observation: If I walk at a steady gait, I can speed up my guitar tempo without altering the footpace much. If I slow down my guitar tempo, my amble decelerates...

On another note, pushing a guitar against the edge of a tablecloth'ed table while playing creates multiple layers and textures, and compelling pitchbend effects. Such was the inspiration for this new album begun this morning.
